Background: This event was created out of an exchange project between film/video majors from Massachusetts College of Art and Design (Boston, U.S.A), FAAP (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and UNIMEP (Sao Paulo, Brazil). The exchange entitles a representative from each university involved to set up a screening of the exchanged work. This opportunity provides the participants with a resource to international student work as well as international exposure of their own artwork. Brazil on the Screen has also accepted work submitted by Brazilian students from other cities in Brazil and the United States.
